Laura Costello
Laura is our Purpose Disruptors Lead in Ireland, where she led GoodLife2030 Ireland, a Creative Ireland-funded initiative that brought the Irish advertising industry together around a collective creative response to climate change, directly challenging overconsumption culture during Black Friday.
With over a decade of experience across the corporate, public and nonprofit sectors, Laura works at the intersection of strategy, storytelling and community building. She has partnered with organisations including Ben and Jerry's, Heineken Ireland, Tony's Chocolonely, Innocent, An Post, RTÉ, the Irish Museum of Modern Art and Creative Ireland.
She is currently Chief Communications Officer at Hometree, one of Ireland's fastest-growing nature restoration charities, where she leads brand and public engagement strategy to scale national impact. Her move from agency leadership into frontline climate and nature action reflects the same conviction that underpins her work with Purpose Disruptors: that communications, done well, can shift culture.
Laura was named by Forbes as one of 43 People Changing Advertising for the Climate. She holds an MPhil in English from Trinity College Dublin and a distinction in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
