Dr Omon Fagbamigbe
Omon is Advertised Emissions Impact Analyst at Purpose Disruptors, working through a 30-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership with the University of Portsmouth, part-funded by UKRI Innovate UK. Her work sits at the heart of one of Purpose Disruptor's most significant research ambitions: developing Advertised Emissions into a global framework for calculating the full climate impact of advertising.
She brings over 15 years of experience across data and sustainability, with a background spanning retail, government, energy and fashion. Her expertise lies in data-driven sustainability and carbon accounting, making emissions measurable, meaningful and actionable across complex systems and industries.
Omon recently completed her PhD, adding academic rigour to a research portfolio built on a long-held conviction that data and AI have a critical role to play in the transition to net zero. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director, supporting organisations to align business strategy with sustainability goals.
Her work at Purpose Disruptors is focused and purposeful. The KTP brings dedicated research capacity to strengthening the Advertised Emissions methodology, building the credibility and consistency the framework will need as the industry moves toward a moment when measuring the true climate impact of advertising becomes not just best practice, but a baseline expectation.
